I am referring to the article published by the Corriere del Ticino on 5 November «Against violence that leaves no bruises» which resumes, like the Swiss and Ticino media, the «Protection of Swiss children» campaign following the assignment at the University of Freiburg to conduct an in-depth investigation into psychological violence in the family environment. We welcome these initiatives which raise awareness among the population on a topic that is never sufficiently known to parents who struggle more and more in the education of their children, faced with the attitudes suggested by information and communication technologies that are little or not at all controlled, attitudes that are increasingly less understandable and difficult to deal with without the help of specialists in the social, educational, psychological and often psychiatric fields. The Federal Council has submitted a new law to the Federal Assembly for consideration next spring in order to enshrine the theme of non-violent education in the Constitution.
Colgo l'occasione per segnalare che nel mio ruolo di consulente psicologico, da ormai quasi vent'anni, presso lo Sportello legale e psicologico introdotto nel 2007 dall'Associazione Genitori Nell'Accudimento (AGNA). ho potuto avvertire, verificare ed affrontare il tema dell'alienazione parentale, uno dei più significativi atti di violenza psicologica spesso non preso in considerazione e a volte volutamente dimenticato. Questa violenza si manifesta in modo particolare dentro le separazioni conflittuali quando uno dei due genitori, quasi sempre quello affidatario «spinge» i figli nei più diversificati modi e con accuse spesso non veritiere e manipolatorie, ad abbandonare la relazione con il genitore non affidatario relegandolo a genitore inutile, spesso incapace e non interessato alla loro educazione in barba alla riconosciuta e necessaria bigenitorialità di cui ogni bambino ha bisogno per crescere in modo sereno e con due genitori anche se separati.
November 20th will be the "International Day of the Rights of Children and Adolescents" and on this occasion the AGNA Association in collaboration with its sisters from French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland, GE-CO-BI, will propose on Wednesday in two weeks' time a significant presence in Lugano, in the Maghetti district starting from 5pm. It will be possible to inform and delve deeper into the topic of psychological violence and in particular that linked to parental alienation. As a significant fact, we will ask those present to light, as an act of solidarity with minors, victims of inadequate attitudes, a candle that can ideally shed light on the suffering they tacitly experience on a daily basis by suffering this psychological violence.
